Curtin Singapore officially opens new campus!

Navitas CEO Scott Jones, and guests of honour unveil the new state-of-the-art campus

The official launch event was attended by Navitas CEO Scott Jones, Navitas Co-Founder and Chairman Rod Jones and guests of honour, The Hon William Hodgman, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, who was joined by His Excellency Dato’ Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, The High Commissioner of Malaysia.

Located in the heart of the busy Singapore Science Park 2 precinct, the new campus will provide students with an outstanding student experience and the opportunity to study alongside potential future employers.

Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne said the new campus would strengthen Curtin’s global presence and reputation by acting as an important international hub. “This is an exciting development for Curtin Singapore, with the new campus in a strategic location that will create meaningful teaching, learning and networking opportunities for students and staff,” said Professor Hayne.

Sharing the building with industry will create opportunities for Curtin Singapore staff and students to collaborate, engage and build successful relationships with industry professionals, organisations and researchers, while also providing access to state-of-the-art facilities in the precinct. Occupying 55,543 square feet of space in the Alpha building, the new campus includes 37 learning spaces, three computer labs, and two clinical skills labs fully equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities.
